1992 Hess Truck

The 1992 Hess Truck was an enclosed 18-wheeler with windows on both sides of the trailer carrying a friction-powered racecar inside. The tractor-trailer had a loading ramp and the racer was uniquely designed to run on a watch battery to power the front and rear lights as well as the illuminated logos on the car. There were 1,300,000 of these toys produced for the 1992 holiday season.
